Convictions Under the Fisheries Act

QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC–(Marketwire – Oct. 23, 2009) – Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec Region, has expelled a list of Gaspe and Lower St. Lawrence Area fishers fined by judges Julie Dionne and Luc Marchildon in Sep and Oct 2009 for assorted violations of the Fisheries Act.
The fines sum $20,200, and prejudiced lien of gear.
